Fireside

Terms of Service

Policy version 2026-10-24.2 · Updated October 24, 2026

Who we are. Fireside is an interactive-fiction service provided under the Pushpop Interactive brand and operated from California. Contact: pushpopinteractive@gmail.com. These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice, are the agreement between you and us. Effective October 24, 2026.

Eligibility and your account. Fireside is for adults aged 18 or older. Give accurate eligibility information, keep your sign-in secure, and do not share access with minors. One person may use each account. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized access.

AI-generated fiction. Stories, narrators and pictures are generated by AI for entertainment. Narrators and characters are not real people. Output can be inaccurate, inconsistent or objectionable and is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Fireside is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US or contact local emergency services. Available AI models and their capabilities may change.

Your content. You keep the rights you have in what you write and upload. Only provide material you have the right to use. You give us permission to store, back up, process and display it to operate the features you request. Private stories stay private. If you choose to publish a story, you also let us show it to other players and review it until you withdraw it. We may decline, hide or remove published material. AI processing requires your separate permission.

Rules. Do not use Fireside for illegal activity; any sexual content involving minors, including pictures; threats or harassment; non-consensual intimate images of real people; infringing material; misusing other people's private information; or bypassing account, safety, age or payment restrictions. Mature and 18+ access does not override the law, these rules or provider limits. We may refuse requests, remove content, and limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Report problems in the app or to pushpopinteractive@gmail.com.

Embers. Embers are a limited licence to use Fireside features. They have no cash value, are not your property, and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money. Fireside shows the Ember price before each paid request, and the price you confirm applies to that request. If the AI declines to write a reply, you are still charged what that reply cost, up to the price you confirmed. Prices for future requests may change. Embers remain available while your account is open. They are forfeited if you delete your account or if it is closed for breaking these Terms.

Purchases and memberships. Purchases in the iPhone app are made through Apple under Apple's terms, and refunds for them are handled by Apple. Purchases on the website are processed by Stripe. Memberships renew automatically each month at the price shown until you cancel. Cancel an iPhone membership in your Apple subscription settings, or a website membership from Profile → Embers & membership → Manage website subscription on the website. Cancelling stops future renewals; benefits continue until the end of the paid period. All sales are final, and we do not give refunds, except where the law requires them.

Leaving Fireside. You may stop using Fireside at any time. To delete your account, open Profile → Account → Delete account and confirm. Deleting your account cancels website renewals but does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage that through Apple. Signing out does not delete your data. AI processing and mature-content permission can be turned off in Privacy settings; information already sent cannot be recalled. We may change, suspend or discontinue features or the service.

No guarantees. To the extent the law allows, Fireside is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular story outcome or error-free AI output.

Limit of liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to Fireside is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 100 US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Law and disputes. California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court instead. Consumer protection laws where you live may also apply.

Apple and changes. Apple's standard licence applies to the downloaded iPhone app. Apple is not responsible for Fireside or these Terms. We will show updated Terms in the app and ask you to agree to material changes before they apply to you.
